Flow Festival

Thank you, 50 000 Flow visitors!

Flow Festival, organised in Helsinki's Suvilahti as part of the Helsinki Festival on August 13-15, drew the biggest audience in the event's history. During the weekend and the Opening Concert, altogether 50 000 visitors attended the event. Last year Flow attracted 41 000 visitors.

The musical highlights of Flow Festival included the Opening Concert featuring electro legends The Chemical Brothers (UK) and LCD Soundsystem (US), the hiphop great Big Boi (US), Flow's Saturday superstar M.I.A. (SRI/UK), The Syrian artist Omar Souleyman, the master of balearic disco, DJ Harvey (UK), and the Main Stage closing act The xx (UK). Also the cutting edge of Finnish music was broadly presented at Flow.

Flow Festival visitors are encouraged to hold on to their Sunday tickets and passes including Sunday's program, as the festival organisers are planning an "Autumn Surprise" related to the event.
